This role is based at our Phoenix Home Office, with an expectation of working a minimum of four days in the office each week. In a standard work week, associates may work up to one remote "flex day" (with leader approval). Our hybrid approach is designed to foster strong collaboration while also supporting flexibility and individual success.About the JobIn partnership with our vendors, merchandisers, planners and marketing, the Merchandise Coordinator will manage the day-to-day maintenance of our items/sku's. These responsibilities include everything from introducing the products to managing the promotions.Gather and populate information for new vendor and item set upLiaison between cross-functional partners and buyersSample managementVendor monitoring, payback managementResponsible for executing needed details into the promotional management system, inclusive of collecting, organizing/filing, entering, and changing and auditing promotions as neededMaintenance and execution of digital pricing and promotions such as iMAP changes and Omni/web only offer setup. Collaboration with Site Merch team to ensure omni-offer creative and messaging is accurate and effective.Manage the online assortment through greenlighting items to go live on site, setting fulfillment eligibility, coordinating assets and PDP updates with vendors, and assisting with backend attribution and taxonomy projects to ensure a seamless digital customer experience.Review and sign off on marketing signage sent to all stores to ensure accuracy for upcoming promotions for pet parentsManaging category release uploads/change formsOccasional customer service issues or store questionsSubmitting communication to stores (CASE messages)Misc vendor related issues, concerns or questionsEducation / ExperienceRequires knowledge obtained through an Associate's degree or Bachelor's degreeProficiency typically obtained with 2+ years experience in a Buyer support, merchandising, or data entry roleExperience with Excel; beginner levelRequires good analytical process skills and high level of accountability to ensure accuracy of dataCandidate must have proven team forming skills to initiate positive relationships with other departments and outside vendorsListens attentively and responds in a sensitive and appropriate manner, treating all with respect and dignityRequires professional written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate information to all levels of leadershipRequires excellent organization and accurate data entry skillsMust be able to work in a fast paced environment where priorities can change quicklyOmnichannel experience (both stores and digital) is preferredAdditional Job ConsiderationsThis role requires collaboration, teamwork, and face-to-face interaction with colleagues, leaders, and/or clients.Being in the office ensures access to leaders, cross-functional partners, and resources necessary to make timely decisions and drive results.On-site presence in accordance with our FlexSmart policy supports our culture of innovation, mentorship, and engagement, which is integral to our success in developing the best team.* This is not intended to be an all-inclusive, exhaustive list of all essential job functions for this position.
