As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, assist with visitor access procedures, and help to support building rules, after-hours protocols, and other property-specific requirements.
• Communicate with property management, tenants, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, maintenance concerns observed during patrols, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
