WelderTrillium Staffing is currently seeking welders for a direct hire welder opportunity with a growing heavy fabrication manufacturer in the Sturgeon Bay area. This welder role is part of a turnkey fabrication team responsible for welding and assembling large steel components used in industrial applications.Welder responsibilities include performing MIG welding using metal-cored and flux-cored wires on large steel components, reading and interpreting blueprints and machine drawings to determine welding requirements, using grinders to clean and prep parts before and after welding, operating overhead cranes and jib cranes to position materials, following all ISO and OSHA standards, and supporting additional duties as assigned.Benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance (effective first of the month after hire), paid short-term disability and parental leave, 401(k) with company match after 30 days, paid vacation and holidays available upon hire, HSA with employer contribution, semi-annual incentive bonus program, training and advancement opportunities, and overtime available.Shifts: 1st shift Monday - Thursday 5:45AM - 3:15PM, Friday - 6:45 AM - 10:45AM (1/2 day Fridays); 2nd shift Monday - Thursday 3:30PM - 2:00AM (3-day weekend).$23–$26/hour.Welder qualifications include a technical diploma in welding preferred, understanding of pre-heat and post-heat weldments is a plus, ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, ability to use a tape measure and convert measurements into decimals, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
