Recruitment Operations Manager

Role Overview

Drive efficient, candidate-centered hiring operations while working remotely and representing the organization at regular in-person recruiting events in San Francisco. This role owns the operational rhythm of the recruitment process, from candidate tracking and communications through interview coordination, documentation, sourcing, and workflow improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily recruitment operations, including candidate tracking, follow-ups, reminders, and hiring workflow momentum.
• Coordinate with hiring managers and candidates on next steps, interviews, feedback collection, and outstanding actions.
• Handle candidate communications, including introductions, interview scheduling, status updates, and follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, pipeline stages, and recruiting documentation for tracking and reporting.
• Support job postings, proactive sourcing, candidate outreach, and initial screening.
• Improve recruiting workflows, tracking systems, and operating processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Represent the organization at San Francisco recruiting events approximately every two weeks, with the possibility of weekly attendance, and develop new connections into active candidate pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations, talent acquisition, or a related role.
• Understanding of candidate sourcing and recruitment processes.
• Strong self-management skills for remote work.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills and experience partnering with hiring managers and candidates.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, CRM tools, and recruitment software.
• Exceptional attention to detail in candidate recordkeeping and process documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing demands in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience representing an organization at networking events, career fairs, or industry meetups.
• Familiarity with recruitment operations in high-growth technology companies or startups.

Work Terms

• Full-time remote role.
• Must be based in or near San Francisco to attend regular in-person recruiting events.

Compensation

$35 to $55 per hour.
