Coverage Period: 07/27/2026 10/31/2026

Clinical Shift Schedule: 3 4 days per week; 10-hour shifts

On-Call Shift Schedule: Call unlikely to be needed

Patient Demographics: Adults

Admissions: Included

Rounding: Included

Case Mix: Thoracic Surgery, Lung Surgery, Foregut Surgery, Minimally Invasive Procedures

Specialty Backup Available: Thoracic Surgery Team

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Temporary Privileges Available: TBD

Credentialing Timeline: TBD

Compensation & Benefits: Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

Required Procedures: First Assist in the OR, Thoracic Surgery Procedures, Robotic Surgery Procedures, Inpatient Rounding, Admissions and Discharges

Job Requirements: Licenses: Active CT License preferred, Board: Board Certified/Board Eligible as NP or PA, Experience: Thoracic (non-cardiac) and robotic surgery experience required, Other Qualifications: Experience with minimally invasive thoracic and foregut surgery preferred, Immunizations: Current Flu vaccination required

Duties & Responsibilities: Provide first assist support in the operating room, Evaluate and manage office patients, Perform inpatient rounding, admissions, and discharges, Collaborate with the thoracic surgery team to provide quality patient care, Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
