As an Accounts Payable Accountant , you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the accounts payable functions of our organization. This position will provide you with the opportunity to apply your analytical skills and financial acumen to contribute to our company's financial health and success. Responsibilities: As an Accounts Payable Analyst, your core responsibilities will include: 1. Managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management. 2. Performing three-way match - verifying that purchase orders, invoices, and receiving reports match in order to ensure accurate and timely payments. 3. Reconciling vendor accounts, resolving any discrepancies, and maintaining a strong professional relationship with vendors. 4. Processing invoices accurately and timely, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded. 5. Preparing and maintaining various reports related to accounts payable for management review. 6. Assisting in the month-end closing process and providing support for audit requests. 7. Collaborating with other departments to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to accounts payable. 8. Continuously improving the accounts payable process by identifying opportunities for efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role in the finance industry. 2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 3. Proficient in accounts payable software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. 4. Strong understanding of the three-way match process. 5. Demonstrated ability to reconcile vendor accounts and process invoices accurately and timely. 6. Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams. 8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 9. Proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
