Vice President, Supply Chain Readiness

Eaton Corporation is hiring for a Vice President, Supply Chain Readiness position. This role is based at Eaton's Beachwood OH or Moon Township PA location. 50 percent travel is anticipated.

The VP, Supply Chain Readiness is responsible for ensuring end-to-end supply chain readiness to support new capacity deployment and business growth. This leader oversees launch execution, launch readiness, and the 3-36 month SIOP process in partnership with Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain COEs, and plant teams to ensure materials, suppliers, inventory, and logistics capabilities are aligned with capacity expansion plans. As a key member of the Capacity Expansion leadership team, the VP partners across Manufacturing Engineering, Program Management, Product Engineering, Finance, IT, Human Resources, and Operations to accelerate ramp-up readiness, mitigate supply risk, and enable successful launch and sustained operational performance across the manufacturing network.

Job Responsibilities:

Capacity Expansion & Startup Readiness

• Serve as the primary liaison between business growth objectives, manufacturing expansion programs, and the external supplier network to ensure supply chain readiness for capacity deployment.
• Establish and execute strategies that align supplier capabilities, material availability, logistics infrastructure, and operational requirements for greenfield investments, plant startups, and footprint expansion.
• Lead cross-functional readiness planning, ensuring internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers are aligned to support successful production launches and ramp-ups.
• Drive supplier engagement, risk mitigation, and capacity assurance activities to enable speed-to-capacity while maintaining operational, cost, and customer performance objectives.

Integrated Planning

• Lead integrated demand, supply, and capacity planning processes, translating business growth forecasts into actionable supplier and manufacturing readiness plans.
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing, Operations, and suppliers to align future capacity requirements with supplier capabilities and investment strategies.
• Develop scenario planning and risk assessment processes to identify constraints, capacity gaps, and growth opportunities across the end-to-end supply network.
• Ensure visibility to supply chain risks and lead mitigation strategies that protect launch timing and business continuity.

Industrialization & New Product Introduction (NPI) Material Readiness

• Lead supplier readiness and material planning activities supporting new product introductions, industrialization efforts, and manufacturing transfers.
• Ensure sourcing strategies, supplier qualifications, and capacity commitments are established in advance of production launch requirements.
• Act as the primary interface between Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing, and suppliers to proactively address supply risks and readiness challenges.
• Establish governance processes that provide visibility to launch readiness, supplier performance, and critical program milestones.

Program Leadership

• Serve as the executive supply chain lead for major capacity expansion, startup, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Represent the voice of the supply network in stage-gate reviews, readiness assessments, and executive decision-making forums.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting that measure supplier readiness, launch performance, capacity attainment, and risk exposure.
• Provide ongoing updates to senior leadership regarding readiness, supplier commitments, supply risks, mitigation actions, and resource requirements.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum fifteen (15) years of progressive supply chain, sourcing, operations, or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success leading supply chain strategies for manufacturing expansions, greenfield sites, large-scale launches, or industrialization programs.
• Previous experience in supply network design, demand and capacity planning, supplier development and readiness, strategic sourcing, commodity management, NPI and product launch support
