Marketing And Communications SpecialistUnder the general direction of the Marketing and Communications Manager, the Marketing and Communications Specialist will support a range of planning and implementation of marketing and communications functions for Spokane Airports, including Spokane International Airport, Felts Field, the Airport Business Park and the Rail-Truck Transload Center. This role will focus heavily on digital content creation, visual storytelling and event coordination to support the Airport's marketing, communications and air service development functions. These functions include but are not limited to brand promotion and engagement, social media and website management, graphic design, photo/video editing, community engagement, and vendor coordination. This position requires employee to work some nights, early mornings and weekends for special events.The Marketing Specialist should be a well-rounded communications professional with a range of strategic storytelling experience. Ideal candidates are independent and highly creative self-starters who demonstrate strong writing and excellent interpersonal skills. Successful applicant thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and has demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, inter-departmental colleagues, contractors, vendors and community organizations. Previous public-sector, customer relations and/or airport experience will be helpful.Minimum Qualifications:2-5 years of related marketing, communications and/or customer relations experience.Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or related field.A combination of education and experience may be considered in meeting the minimum requirements for this position.Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, free of serious or frequent traffic violations.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
