Checkmarx is the AI-powered application security leader helping the world's most security-conscious enterprises secure the software that powers modern life. For more than two decades, our unified platform and services have helped organizations protect human and AI-generated code from the first line through runtime, reducing risk across applications, cloud, and the software supply chain without slowing innovation.

We're trusted by 1,600+ customers in 70+ countries, including some of the largest enterprises and governments in the world. Guided by research-led innovation and a developer-first mindset, we help every developer, security team, and enterprise build software that is risk-free by design.

What are we looking for?

We're seeking a Solution Engineer who thrives at the intersection of application security and modern software development — including AI-assisted coding. You'll partner with Account Executives to win strategic deals, deliver compelling technical narratives, and help customers understand their risk posture in an era where developers ship faster than ever and AI-generated code introduces new security challenges.

What is needed to succeed?

• Understanding of core AppSec domains: SAST, SCA, DAST, secrets detection, API security, and AI/LLM code risk
• 1-2+ years in technical presales/solution engineering for SaaS security or dev tools
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Ability to run tailored demos and proof-of-value engagements for both technical and executive audiences
• Strong communicator who can translate complex security concepts for non-security audiences
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth sales environment

Nice to Have

• Portuguese fluency
• Working knowledge of the SDLC and DevSecOps/shift-left practices
• Familiarity with AI coding tools (Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Cursor, etc.) and their security implications
• Hands-on scripting/programming experience across multiple languages
• Genuine interest in how AI is reshaping AppSec and development

What we have to offer

• Culture of community and opportunity to work in a growing organization
• Room for career growth and professional development
• Training and educational opportunities
