Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Observation PCU setting during night shifts
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, including cardiac observation
• Float between PCU and cardiac-related units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Respond to potential on-call needs as required by unit staffing demands
• Adhere to facility dress code standards (navy scrubs) and all compliance requirements prior to and throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
• Valid driver's license required to verify residency; Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Experience working in cardiac or stepdown units in addition to PCU
