IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Antioch, TN

An infusion pharmacy is seeking a skilled IV Certified Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This opportunity offers an immediate start in Antioch, TN, with an initial 8-week contract and potential for permanent placement based on performance.


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Occasional Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and fill prescriptions, including IV medications, under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to accurately enter data for prescription filling and reimbursement processes.
• Assist in prepackaging medication following regulatory standards.
• Support the pharmacist in the final checking and packaging of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintain efficient inventory practices such as receiving, rotating stock, and documenting lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Help maintain a clean, safe work environment by monitoring equipment calibration, safety, and cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• Current Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Prior experience with IV/Infusion pharmacy operations is mandatory.
• National pharmacy technician certification is preferred but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow regulatory guidelines.
