Residential Electrical Solutions Specialist (Service Electrician)

Location: Greater Philadelphia Area (Montgomery, Bucks, Philadelphia, Delaware, Chester Counties)

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $70,000 $150,000+ per year (Hourly + Performance Pay)

THE OPPORTUNITY
Earn $70K$150K+ working on high-value residential electrical projects panels, EV chargers, whole-home upgrades, and smart systems.

This role is for electricians who can diagnose problems, guide homeowners through their options, and deliver complete, long-term solutionsnot just quick fixes.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Perform residential electrical service, repair, and installation
• Diagnose electrical issues and identify safety concerns
• Provide homeowners with multiple solution options based on their needs, budget, and long-term goals
• Install and support:
  
  • Electrical panel upgrades and replacements
  • EV chargers
  • Whole-home surge protection
  • Smart home and energy-efficient systems
• Deliver a professional, customer-first experience from start to finish
• Use company systems (iPad/ServiceTitan) for documentation and job management
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and job site
• Stay productive during schedule gaps by supporting customer follow-ups, light community engagement, and local awareness efforts

A TYPICAL DAY

• Run 24 residential service calls
• Diagnose issues and walk homeowners through options
• Complete work same-day when possible
• Focus on doing the job rightnot rushing to the next call

REQUIREMENTS

Must Have:

• 8+ years residential electrical experience
• Active Journeyman Electrician License (or ability to meet local municipal licensing requirements)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with homeowners
• Valid drivers license with clean record
• Experience working independently in a service environment

Preferred:

• Experience with panel upgrades and service replacements
• EV charger installation experience
• Smart home / automation experience
• Experience with ServiceTitan or similar systems

THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR

• New construction electricians
• Commercial-only electricians
• Candidates who prefer minimal customer interaction

CAREER PATH

Electrician Sr Electrician Lead Electrical Advisor Operations / Management

WORK SCHEDULE

• Monday Friday (Typical: 7 AM 5 PM)
• Some evenings/weekends based on demand

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role requires:

• Ability to lift 25100 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders
• Working in attics, crawl spaces, and confined areas
• Use of tools and hands for extended periods
• Clear verbal communication with customers
