Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care.
• Supervises and directs the activities of assigned nursing staff.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Implements care plans and coordinates care delivery.
• Evaluates patient progress towards health outcomes.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care.
• Provides educational opportunities for patients and families.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
