Logistics Coordinator - New England Region

Job Description

Essential duties and responsibilities to include (but not limited to):

• Support sales operations by handling overflow calls and assisting with customer requests.
• Coordinate all daily deliveries across the company, including boom and specialty deliveries.
• Monitor and adjust delivery schedules in real time to maintain service standards.
• Optimize truck routing and driver utilization to ensure efficient and timely service.
• Manage and prioritize orders and material transfers based on workload, inventory levels, and operational needs.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or operations coordination preferred.
• Strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a team-first mindset.
• Proven ability to problem-solve and adjust quickly to changing workloads and operational needs.
• Comfortable working with routing, dispatch, or inventory management systems; strong general computer skills required.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Basic math skills and ability to interpret data related to orders, routing, and inventory.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to work effectively with drivers, yard teams, and customers.

Overview

Logistics Coordinator - New England Region

We are a Large Corporate Industry Leader in Building Supplies Employing over 800 Friendly People on Long Island, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

For compliance purposes for NY transparency, the expected salary range is $22.00 - $25.00. Compensation will be based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Logistrics Coordinator- New England Region - Coordinates and manages daily delivery operations across New England, optimizing routes, resources, and truck utilization to ensure efficient and timely service.
