Supply Management Specialist

Duties

Help

Monitor Depot's performance for trends; reviews procedures for possible corrective action.

Identify process improvements that will provide efficiencies and improve mission effectiveness.

Conduct a variety of studies to determine most effective and efficient use of resources to ensure mission accomplishment.

Responsible for monitoring and providing technical advice and guidance to operating level personnel regarding various programs or aspects of storage management, distribution operations, transportation and traffic management programs, quality assurance and customer service.

Respond to requests for assistance, conducts investigations and studies, and prepares standard operating procedures, training plans, tools, and flowcharts.

Reports quality assurance plans, and/or other documentation to resolve issues or improve processes/procedures.

Incumbent plans, coordinates and executes plans of action to accomplish special distribution program requirements, implement new business opportunities and support distribution marketing efforts.
