Job Description

Allied Universal® is hiring a Site Supervisor. The general purpose and function of the Site Supervisor encompasses the professional operation, administration, profitability, and quality assurance of uniformed services for a client’s site.

Pay Rate: $17.68 / Hour

6AM-2PM

Monday through Friday

1. Security Experience (C112)

   • Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience. This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle security-related tasks and responsibilities effectively.

2. Supervisory Experience (C136)

   • Candidates should possess supervisory experience, showcasing their ability to lead and manage a team. This experience is essential for roles that require oversight of personnel and operations.

3. Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)

   • Familiarity with access control systems and badge management is required. Candidates should have experience in managing access to secure areas and ensuring compliance with security protocols.

4. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)

   • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage electronic communications, and utilize digital tools effectively.

5. CPR Certification (B205)

   • Candidates are required to have a valid CPR certification. [Your Company Name] will cover the costs associated with obtaining this certification, ensuring that all employees are prepared for emergency situations.

6. Customer Service Experience (B219)

   • A background in customer service is essential. Candidates should have experience in interacting with clients or customers, demonstrating strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service.

• The Security Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security operations at a designated location. This role involves ensuring a safe and secure environment for visitors and employees, monitoring security systems, and responding to security incidents.

• A security site supervisor manages a team of security personnel to ensure a safe environment and protect people and resources. Their responsibilities include:

• Hiring and training

• Interviewing, hiring, and training security staff, including new hires and current staff. Training topics may include workplace searches, drug and alcohol procedures, and safety and security topics.

• Scheduling

• Overseeing the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff.

• Performance monitoring

• Monitoring performance and conducting daily briefings. This may include accompanying guards on patrols to assess their performance and verify adherence to security rules.

• Incident response

• Responding to incidents, monitoring CCTV and security systems, and performing regular patrols to identify potential breaches.

• Liaison

• Liaising with the on-site manager and staff to provide advice and receive feedback.

• Policies and procedures

• Establishing and carrying out policies and procedures required by the organization.

• Record keeping

• Keeping diligent records to document all security-related instances that occur at their place of employment.

• Training programs

• Working with security managers to create training programs so that all security guards can have the knowledge to fulfill their responsibilities.

• Continuous training

• Giving continuous training for current equipment or instructing employees on how to use newly adopted technology

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site are performed in a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training all Allied Universal®. personnel assigned to his/her site)
• Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met
• Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by AUS
• Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift
• Perform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)
• Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision.
• Respond to client requests
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
• Provide direction and instruction to subordinates in regard to the performance of their duties
• Disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
• Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders
• Make recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
• Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
• Must possess one or more of the following:
• Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
• Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
• Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
• Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
• Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
• Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
