Cons Prod Strat Analyst III - Global Payment Operations Fraud Analytics

This role is responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling to minimize loss exposure and negative impacts to the customer experience. It involves utilizing systems such as Excel, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and other relational databases. Responsibilities Primary responsibility is to create/update business rules to minimize false‑positive commercial Fraud alerts to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the CoE's alert review process. Manage multiple ongoing initiatives by attending calls from various projects, understanding commercial Fraud needs, providing requirements, and tracking project status. Analyze daily alerts to develop strategies using pattern matching and trending techniques. Query and analyze data for ad hoc requirements, generating reports for the team. Collaborate with technology teams on requirements, testing, and implementing changes to improve/automate processes. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and fitness for analysis through testing procedures and controls to identify constructive insights. Develop and execute Enterprise Data Management policies and standards; act as key contact for data compliance and manage operational elements of EDSGO. Manage data‑related incidents, communicate resolution or escalation as needed. Develop, manage, and execute controls to track, monitor, and resolve data platform breaches. Partner with Business and Technology functions to drive development of business and functional requirements documents and resolve data incidents upstream. Recommend strategies to help the business achieve desired outcomes using data analysis outputs. Perform complex analysis of financial models, market data, portfolio trends to understand product performance and improve risk, profitability, forecasting, and operations. Lead coordination of production of product performance reports and updates for senior management. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Statistics or related fields or equivalent experience. 1+ years experience in SQL/SAS. Intermediate knowledge in SQL and using tools such as TOAD, SQL Server. Awareness of AI/Machine Learning concepts and ability to implement such strategies. Experience in data analytics and interpretation of large volumes of data. Scripting experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, VB, SAS. Desired Qualifications Experience in financial fraud processes. Data transformation/formatting experience; ability to work with data in various formats. Knowledge of Global Financial Crimes program requirements. Experience in Global Banking & Markets business processes. Logical thinking with a technical mindset. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Access. Knowledge of PowerBI/Tableau. Ability to prioritize, use own initiative, make quick decisions, be flexible, and work independently. Ability to work remotely with globally distributed teams, under pressure, meet deadlines, and navigate change. Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds and opinions.
