Vice President of Marketing

Location: Nampa, Idaho (Onsite)

Gymreapers is a leading strength and performance brand built by lifters, for lifters. We design premium lifting gear, apparel, and accessories used by athletes worldwide. Operating across DTC (Shopify), Amazon, and wholesale, we are a profitable, fast-growing business with a passionate community at our core.

The VP of Marketing is the senior-most marketing leader at Gymreapers, responsible for owning and scaling the entire marketing function across:

• Brand & Creative
• Performance & Growth Marketing
• Lifecycle (Email/SMS/Retention)
• Social, Content & Community
• Creator & Partnerships
• PR & Communications

This is a player-coach role requiring both strategic leadership and hands-on execution. You will partner directly with the CEO and executive team to drive brand equity and profitable growth across all channels.

• Own and evolve the Gymreapers brand across all touchpoints
• Lead creative strategy across paid, organic, and lifecycle channels
• Build and manage an integrated campaign calendar
• Maintain a high bar for creative quality and brand consistency

• Own DTC growth across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, and Amazon Ads
• Manage full-funnel performance (MER, CAC, LTV, ROAS)
• Drive testing culture across channels and creatives
• Own marketing budget and P&L in partnership with Finance

• Build and scale email, SMS, and loyalty programs
• Improve retention, repeat purchase rate, and LTV
• Develop segmentation and personalization strategies

• Lead organic social strategy across key platforms
• Scale creator, athlete, and ambassador programs into revenue channels
• Strengthen community engagement and brand affinity
• Own PR, brand storytelling, and cultural moments

• Partner with Ecommerce on conversion rate optimization (CRO) and PDP strategy
• Lead go-to-market strategy for product launches
• Support international expansion efforts

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing team
• Manage agencies and external partners
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Operations, and Ecommerce

• 12+ years of marketing experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role (VP/CMO level)
• Experience scaling a DTC or omnichannel consumer brand ($150M+ preferred)
• Deep expertise in performance marketing and ecommerce growth
• Strong understanding of key metrics: MER, CAC, LTV, ROAS, attribution
• Proven ability to lead both brand and performance marketing
• Experience building and managing high-performing teams

• Background in fitness, strength, or athletic apparel industries
• Experience scaling creator/ambassador programs into meaningful revenue channels
• International expansion experience (UK, EU, Canada, Australia)

• Experience with tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4, Triple Whale/Northbeam
• Experience in founder-led or high-growth private companies
