About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to lead and scale the entire marketing function. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving brand equity and profitable growth across various channels, including brand and creative, performance and growth marketing, lifecycle, social, content, community, and PR. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a hands-on approach, responsible for owning and evolving the brand, leading creative strategy, and managing an integrated campaign calendar. They will also be tasked with DTC growth, full-funnel performance, and driving a testing culture across channels and creatives. The role requires a leader who can build and manage high-performing teams, collaborate cross-functionally, and has a strong background in fitness, strength, or athletic apparel industries. Applicants for the VP of Marketing position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in scaling a DTC or omnichannel consumer brand, particularly with a focus on performance marketing and e-commerce growth, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading both brand and performance marketing, as well as experience in international expansion and with tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4, and Triple Whale/Northbeam. A background in the fitness or athletic apparel industries, and experience in founder-led or high-growth private companies, is also required. The role demands a leader who can bring a deep understanding of key marketing metrics and is adept at managing marketing budgets and P&L in partnership with finance.
