Audio Engineer - Tech Coordinator

The Audio Engineer is expected to contribute towards the church’s overall mission to love courageously, share generously, and speak boldly. This role will primarily assist the Worship Ministry by serving as the lead sound engineer in the auditorium for all services and events. Responsibilities Lead and control front-of-house audio and/or develop a team that can run front-of-house with consistency and excellence Lead and Develop volunteers to run broadcast audio Manage and control Dante routing and patching Assist in stage design and setup including instrument patching and cable management Refine and update our audio systems to bring audio excellence to all we do Expectations Must claim Jesus as your Lord and Savior Must align with the values displayed on Venture’s website Must have paid experience running audio on a digital console Must have an understanding of Dante routing Must have experience working with a live audio broadcast system Must be willing to receive and give feedback Must have a high value of excellence and willingness to grow Must be a good team player Must have a high value of developing leaders Must work a minimum of 2 Sundays per month Success Indicators for the Audio Engineer Trust and goodwill are built among stage personnel (staff and volunteers) through a servant attitude A quality audio experience is established by setting a consistent standard for mixing A sufficient number of broadcast engineers provide a consistent mix to complement the online and facility live streams Position Structure and Level Reports To: Worship Pastor Classification: Non-Exempt Category: Regular Part-Time Staff Designation: Support Staff Submitted: May 2026 #J-18808-Ljbffr venturechristian
