Food Runner / Busser

Job Description

We are seeking a high-energy Food Runner / Busser to join our team at a busy, high-volume restaurant. This role supports our servers by efficiently delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests and maintaining clean, prepared tables for upcoming seatings. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and works well under the direction of the kitchen manager during regular night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

Run food orders promptly from kitchen to guests
Clear and reset tables to prepare for next guests
Assist servers with guest needs and dining room support
Interact courteously with guests ensuring a positive dining experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
Carry trays and food orders safely and efficiently
Collaborate with team members to support smooth operations

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in food service
Knowledge of food safety standards
Strong customer service skills
Good time management and teamwork abilities
Effective communication skills
Ability to carry trays and food orders
Attention to detail and physical stamina
