Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Acute Psychiatric UnitThe Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient and family support and nursing care within their full scope of practice. Execute the nursing process to provide effective, evidence-based care, including the assessment, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and services for patients, families, and the community. Responsibilities include observation, data collection, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patients' physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs as guided by an individualized and ongoing plan of care. The RN works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team and communicates clearly and respectfully with both patients and teammates at every encounter, representing the organization with the highest level of customer service.ResponsibilitiesFollow the mission, vision, and values of the organization, demonstrating integrity, reliability, emotional maturity, compassion, and caring for patients, families, and coworkers.Involve patients and families in establishing care goals and implement interventions to reflect resourceful involvement of team members.Facilitate linking patients and families with other disciplines and services as needed.Demonstrate technical skill competence required for patient and family care.Stay current on organizational policies, procedures, and standards while acting as a resource to others.Evaluate care reflective of the attainment of care goals and demonstrate proficiency in clinical documentation.Utilize critical thinking skills to make appropriate clinical decisions and prioritize events.Value and incorporate research and evidence-based practice in nursing.Assist peers in acquiring department-specific knowledge, skills, and behaviors and appropriately delegate tasks while following the delegation process.Demonstrate leadership at the point of care through clinical decision-making, advocacy, collaboration, and influence on patient outcomes.Remain flexible in assisting patients, families, and teammates as needed and assume other responsibilities as necessary.ScheduleThis position is for a night shift from 07:00 PM to 07:00 AM.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureState License VerificationNursysCurrent certifications as applicableWhy ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
