Mammography Technologist Contract Position

Location: Richmond, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 4:30 PM; occasional half-day Saturday every 3-4 months.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently in performing screenings and diagnostic exams while providing excellent patient care. The successful applicant will be part of a cohesive team dedicated to delivering high-quality mammography services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform screenings and diagnostic mammograms using Hologic equipment.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately using Penrad, Sectra, Ambry, and Expanse systems.
• Collaborate effectively with unit secretaries and other team members.
• Provide excellent patient care and address patient needs effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ARRT certification in mammography.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Proven ability to operate independently in a clinical setting.
