Kitchen Production Staff

(Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available)

In our Production Kitchen you’ll assist the Chef by preparing party trays and helping with deli salad and catering production. Job Duties

• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
• Do your part to maintain a clean and organized environment for all.
• Plan and direct food preparation to minimize food and supply waste.
• Cook or directly supervise the cooking of items that require skillful preparation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older.
• Must be friendly and a team player.
• Work environment includes continuous interaction with co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
• Typical elements of this job are physical in nature.
• Engage in standing/walking 6-8 hours at a time.
• Ability to maneuver weight up to 50 pounds.
• Schedule may entail evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass a required criminal background check.

Preferred Skills

• Previous food preparation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of proper cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of perishables, product rotation, and safe food handling practices.
• Intermediate cooking and knife handling skills.
