Swiss Lathe Operator

• Shift/Hours: Sunday - Wednesday (6:00am - 6:00pm)

Job Description :

Will be responsible for setting up and operating the Swiss screw machines and multi-spindle lathe machines. Will adhere to current ISO requirements and observe all safety and housekeeping requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Responsible for operation of Swiss an lathe machines; including, loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips from machine.
• Responsible for performing setup on Swiss and lathe machine; including, tooling changes and adjustments to ensure continued conformance to specifications.
• Responsible for conformance with quality specifications.
• Ability to assist other in trouble shooting, and maintenance activities.
• Ability to assist in training others on operation and setup of Swiss and lathe machines.

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• High School Diploma/GED

• 1+ years Swiss setup or Lathe setup experience or Swiss/lathe-based education

• Must be able to perform basic reading, writing and mathematical functions

• Must be able to read and decipher electrical schematics and machine drawings

• Must be able to stand for duration of your shift

• Regularly bend/push, and left 30lbs

• Must be available to work in various temperature environments

Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
