Marketing & Business Development Coordinator

Washington, DC Metro Area (Remote with Occasional In-Office Collaboration) Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to support a growing professional services organization. This role offers exceptional exposure to marketing, business development, client engagement, events, and strategic growth initiatives while working closely with firm leadership and business development professionals. Responsibilities Coordinate webinars, conferences, client events, roundtables, CLE programs, and other marketing initiatives. Manage event logistics, registrations, attendee communications, materials, and post-event follow-up. Support sponsorships, speaking engagements, and business development activities. Maintain and update CRM databases, contact lists, mailing lists, and marketing records. Assist with the distribution of client alerts, newsletters, invitations, and other marketing communications. Support website updates, attorney biographies, marketing materials, and content management tasks. Assist with proposals, RFP responses, pitch materials, competitive research, and business development opportunities. Track marketing projects, deadlines, and follow-up activities. Coordinate meetings, vendor communications, and administrative activities for the marketing team. Help ensure consistency and accuracy across marketing and business development initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 years of experience in marketing, business development, events, communications, or administrative support. Experience in a law firm, consulting firm, accounting firm, or other professional services environment is a plus. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities. Experience with CRM platforms, email marketing tools, website content systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
