Customer Service Representative The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing outstanding service to customers while supporting daily operational activities. This role involves managing customer inquiries, processing orders, maintaining accurate records through data entry, monitoring inventory levels, communicating with internal departments and external vendors, and handling incoming calls and email correspondence. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide professional and timely customer service via phone, email, and other communication channels. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently in company systems. Perform data entry and maintain accurate customer, order, and inventory records. Check inventory availability and coordinate with appropriate departments to ensure product availability. Communicate with internal teams including Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Accounting to resolve customer issues and support order fulfillment. Coordinate and communicate with external vendors regarding orders, shipments, product availability, and service-related matters. Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a courteous and professional manner. Answer incoming calls and route calls to the appropriate departments or personnel. Monitor order status and provide updates to customers as needed. Prepare and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel. Assist with filing, documentation, and administrative support tasks. Identify and escalate customer issues when necessary. Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards. Support special projects and other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of customer service, order processing, or administrative experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Professional phone etiquette and customer-focused attitude. Technical Skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data entry, spreadsheets, basic formulas, sorting, filtering, and reporting). Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications. Experience with ERP, CRM, or order management systems preferred. Ability to learn new software and systems quickly. The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
