Customer Service Representative I/II

Look no further! The City of Rancho Cordova is seeking a Customer Service Representative I/II who has interest in local government to join the Administrative Support Division.
As Rancho Cordova's Customer Service Representative I/II, you will be the frontline ambassador for the City of Rancho Cordova! We are seeking a customer-focused, collaborative professional with exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding public service. In this dynamic role, you will assist residents, businesses, and visitors by providing accurate information, resolving inquiries, and connecting customers with the appropriate City resources. You will also play a key role in supporting City Hall operations by preparing reports and providing high-quality administrative support that contributes to the efficient delivery of City services.
The ideal candidate will be a customer service professional familiar with Rancho Cordova who embodies the following:
- Taking initiative to find solutions.
- Representing the City well by taking the extra step to make a positive impression.
- Taking pride in doing a good job and supporting others.
- Paying attention to detail in punctuation, spelling, and correct tone of documents.
- Being detail-oriented with tasks such as expense and reimbursement preparation, meeting and event support, and process orders and transactions.
