Sr. Principal Clinical Specialist, Cardiovascular Surgery

Medtronic seeks a Senior Principal Clinical Specialist for Cardiovascular Surgery to support cardiac surgery programs across New England. This remote position requires territory-based travel to provide technical leadership, physician training, and clinical education on heart valve, surgical ablation, repair, and revascularization technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on implantation and utilization of surgical-based therapy products
- Educate physicians, staff, and trainees on product indications, techniques, and appropriate use
- Support physician adoption phases through first-case support and procedural troubleshooting
- Develop and deliver training programs for sales representatives, residents, fellows, and clinical specialists
- Partner with sales and district leadership to identify growth opportunities and drive strategic account development
Requirements
- Deep clinical knowledge of cardiac surgery and Medtronic surgical products
- Ability to influence clinical practice and build physician relationships
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout territory
- Experience with physician education and first-case procedure support
- Strong communication and collaborative skills with clinical and sales teams
- Current knowledge of cardiac surgery standards of care and competitive landscape
