Am Law top 50 firm which is consistently ranked among the leading law firms is looking for an associate to join their Debt Finance practice.
The ideal candidate must have 1-3 years of finance experience at a comparable law firm.
Ideal candidates will have experience in:
- Secured transactions representing borrowers and/or lenders
- A working knowledge of syndicated financing transactions, financing transactions for venture-backed companies, acquisition financing transactions, and convertible or high yield bond offerings
- Experience in closing transactions
- Familiarity with drafting documents in connection with financial transactions.
Knowledge of Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, secured transactions, debt securities offerings, and general corporate law are also preferred. All candidates must have a JD or the equivalent and have demonstrated high academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school, have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and have a high level of attention to detail.
