Job Summary
We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire shipping & receiving process, including recording orders, labeling packages, and packing containers. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail and a commitment to integrity.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming orders and check paperwork as required
- Pay attention to detail, make sure the correct item is being received.
- Make sure items get to the appropriate destination
- This could be a pending order or on the shelf for inventory
- Prepare orders for shipping / delivery
- Mark SunnySide Pick List with appropriate information.
- Pull items from stock for orders
- Help organize pending orders waiting to be completed
- Take embroidered items and place in appropriate locations typically with other item on open orders
- Help load trucks with deliveries for the day.
- Stock shelves with incoming products
- Housekeeping – cleanup of boxes, trash etc. in warehouse
- Operate forklift to unload and load trucks as needed
- Prepare orders to be shipped via UPS using Worldship or equivalent program
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk or in a similar position is preferred
- High school diploma/GED
- Basic math and computer skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
