Job Description Position: Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist Therapeutic Area (TA): Psychiatry Location: Minneapolis S, MN; Minneapolis, MN / Saint Paul, MN / Rochester, MN Position Summary The Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) is a critical role in our customer model, driving demand for BMS medicines within the portfolio to appropriate patients. The TAS builds and maintains professional credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians, engaging them in scientific dialogue and ensuring the safe and appropriate use of BMS products while achieving business results. Key Responsibilities Promote approved indications of BMS products within the assigned territory to meet or exceed sales targets. Create demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients. Maintain scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas. Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans. Utilize tools such as CE^3 to derive insights and inform call plans, providing feedback for continuous improvement. Demonstrate scientific expertise and present accurate information to HCPs. Conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch and learns) and discuss product-related scientific information consistent with label. Organize external speaker programs and manage logistics. Maintain expertise on emerging data for approved indications. Provide real‑time medical support through Medical on Call for complex inquiries. Collaborate with field teams to ensure the best Customer Experience (Cx) for HCPs. Share relevant insights internally with stakeholders to improve customer service. Comply with all laws, regulations, and BMS policies. Minimum Education Required High School/GED Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience as healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nurse. Strong communication skills to convey scientific or clinical data accurately. Track record of building credibility with key customers and delivering positive Customer Experience (Cx). Demonstrated account management skills and proven sales performance. Strong selling and promotional skills. Experience in neurology preferred. Positive team mindset and can‑do attitude.
