Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist – Neuroscience Field‑based role located in Minneapolis, MN (also Saint Paul and Rochester, MN). The position focuses on promoting Bristol Myers Squibb’s therapeutics within the psychiatry therapeutic area and driving demand with a differentiated customer experience. Key Responsibilities Promote approved indications of BMS products within the assigned territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner. Create demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients. Maintain scientific expertise across all assigned products and therapeutic areas. Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans. Utilize tools such as CE^3 to derive insights, create dynamic call plans, and provide feedback to leadership. Demonstrate scientific expertise through approved resources and publications to ensure medical accuracy. Conduct in‑office presentations (e.g., lunch & learns) and discuss product‑related scientific information consistent with label. Organize external speaker programs and manage scheduling and logistics. Engage real‑time medical support through Medical on Call for unsolicited questions and complex inquiries. Collaborate proactively with other field teams to deliver the best customer experience. Share insights and information internally to help BMS better serve its customers. Comply with all laws, regulations, and BMS policies. Required Qualifications & Experience Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in sales, MSL, or healthcare roles. Excellent ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to physicians. Proven experience building and maintaining strong credibility with key customers and stakeholders. Experience in neurology preferred. Demonstrated account management skills and a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Effective cross‑functional collaboration and a positive team mindset. Strong selling and promotional skills with a proven performance track record. Compensation Overview Field (United States) – annual base salary ranges from US $139,230 to $168,714. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available.
