Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a full-time Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. This contract position is available immediately and will continue through the end of the school year, working across multiple schools in the Spring Valley area. Collaborative environments and diverse student needs make this a dynamic, impactful role for dedicated professionals.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience delivering OT services in school settings
- Comfort working across different campuses with a range of student needs
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
- Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills
- Flexibility to adjust to varying daily assignments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate records
- Support students in accessing their curriculum and participating fully in school routines
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt classroom activities and environments
- Offer consultative services to staff and families to promote student progress
- Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
