Payroll Manager

Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Manage payroll tax filings, garnishments, benefits deductions, and year-end processing (W-2s) Ensure payroll records are accurate and confidential while resolving payroll discrepancies in a timely manner Partner with HR and Finance to maintain employee data and support audits Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and ensure compliance with company policies Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (required) 5+ years of payroll experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll processing, payroll tax regulations, and labor laws Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, UKG, or Paylocity Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
