Design Lead - Home Textiles

We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to take ownership of key retail accounts, grow existing business, open new doors, and help drive the division forward. This is a true business-building role — ideal for someone who understands the home textiles market, enjoys working directly with buyers, and knows how to turn product assortments into profitable programs. The right candidate will be proactive, commercially minded, and capable of managing accounts with minimal oversight while identifying opportunities to expand the business. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on growing key accounts, building strong buyer relationships, and driving results. It is also ideal for a candidate who understands how sourcing, product development, pricing, merchandising, and sales strategy work together to win with major retailers. Key Responsibilities Own daily Home category development across bedding, towels, sheets, jacquards, woven textures, and performance fabrics Work with sales to prepare for buyer meetings and support line presentation needs Travel for NYC appointments, market week, and international vendor/trend trips, including setup and visual storytelling Communicate directly with factories and overseas mills to develop product within costing and manufacturing constraints Create production-ready CADs, repeats, colorways, and spec packages Review samples, issue comments, manage color approvals, and support QC through production Conduct trend and market research to inform seasonal direction and commercial opportunities Maintain organized files, swatches, and development assets to keep projects moving efficiently Collaborate with the Design Manager to align on brand direction, priorities, and final approvals What You Bring 5+ years of experience in home textiles or product development Strong technical knowledge of fabric construction, jacquards, dobby weaves, yarn systems, and finishing Ability to independently execute development with some team support Experience working with overseas factories and managing sampling and production follow-through Strong understanding of costing, commercial product, and development within budget Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Why Join Amrapur This role offers the opportunity to take on the Home category and help build a stronger development pipeline.
