Banking ProfessionalThis role is a banking professional who plays a vital role in bringing TD's human, relationship driven banking experience to life by partnering with clients to help them confidently achieve their financial goals by delivering personalized solutions that support overall financial well-being. This role is accountable for acquiring and deepening client relationships through consultative engagement, strong product knowledge, and disciplined execution that drive meaningful client outcomes while adhering to TD's risk and regulatory standards.Depth & Scope:Drives acquisition in a bank location by engaging clients through walk-in opportunities, lead management, and outbound outreach, building meaningful connections that help clients achieve their financial goalsEngages clients with curiosity, establishes purpose for the interaction, and conducts meaningful, goals-based discovery to uncover client needs and prioritiesApplies foundational banking knowledge to interpret client needs and validate understanding. Clearly explains relevant options, including features, benefits, and potential risks, using simple and transparent language to help clients make informed decisions aligned to their financial goalsDelivers personalized solutions and next best actions, connecting clients to appropriate products, services, or partnersExecutes with accuracy and discipline, establishing clear next steps and follow-up, and reinforces the client relationship to support long-term financial progressServes as a trusted client advocate by providing ongoing guidance, educating clients on TD products, services, and digital capabilities to simplify everyday banking and improve financial wellnessBuilds and strengthens client relationships through consistent, personalized interactions that reflect a client-first approachEngages clients on mortgage products, accepting mortgage inquiries, referring clients for mortgage solutions, or other residential lending activitiesAdheres to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate documentation, strong risk awareness, and protection of the client and the BankEducation & Experience:High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)1+ years of experience engaging with clients in a service, sales, or relationship building environmentTeller or cash-handling experience in a financial institution preferredExperience educating clients on products and services in a consultative mannerDemonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and colleaguesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills in client interactionsBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar workplace technologiesAbility to complete required job-related training upon hireAbility to obtain and maintain active registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required for the roleNotary License (or ability to obtain) preferredCustomer Accountabilities:Accountable for delivering a welcoming, personalized client experience by actively engaging in meaningful discovery that builds trust and establishes credibilityServes as the primary point of accountability for client concerns, resolving issues end-to-end where possible and ensuring timely escalation when requiredDrives client acquisition, retention, and relationship growth for the bank location by proactively identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and improve client outcomesApplies sound judgment to balance client needs with risk and compliance requirements, ensuring accurate capture of client information and alignment to policiesConsistently brings TD's brand and client strategy to life through every interaction, reinforcing a differentiated, relationship-led experienceShareholder Accountabilities:Maintains compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations to minimize risk and protect the clientActs as a trusted first point of contact in safeguarding the integrity of the client relationship by operating within compliance of AML laws and regulatory requirements, by accurately verifying client identification, maintaining data integrity, and following established authentication and documentation standardsIdentifies potential discrepancies, material changes or risk indicators and escalates appropriately in accordance with policy and procedureActs in accordance with TD's code of conduct and ethical standards in every decisionProtects TD's clients, colleagues and the Bank - Do the right thing -own it, raise it, know itEmployee/ Team Accountabilities:Completes required training and continuously strengthen risk and compliance knowledgeShare insights, lessons learned, and best practices across the teamContributes to a positive work environment by aligning to TD Model, Brand and Culture by participating fully as a member of the teamTakes accountability for outcomes and performance by participating in performance and development activities;
