We are hiring immediately for a Campus Executive Chef position. Location : Mountain View, CA Schedule : Monday - Friday (6am - 4pm) Pay Range : $105,000 - $120,000 Bonus Eligible Job Summary: To support our growth, we are seeking a Campus Executive Chef to join our Bon Appétit leadership team. The CEC holds a pivotal role within our multi‑unit culinary operations, serving as the strategic architect for a diverse portfolio of cafés. The CEC acts as the central hub of our culinary operations, ensuring overarching success with a particular emphasis on the seamless, high‑level execution of the Food program across multiple sites. In this role, you will collaborate extensively with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistency, quality, and innovation across all culinary offerings, driving regional operational excellence and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Key Responsibilities: Systematically oversee workplace and food safety standards across the zone, including allergen management and compliance with regional regulations. Deliver leadership and food program management, ensuring all culinary initiatives align with regional standards and local goals. Foster a hospitality‑minded community that ensures associates and users feel welcome, valued, and included across all locations. Lead campus‑wide initiatives, including seasonal menu planning, recipe development, and the integration of culinary trends. Drive a culture of diversity and inclusion, proactively engaging associates to build a representative and high‑performing workforce. Strategically assist with talent identification, training, and development of a leadership pipeline. Oversee food quality standards and guest experience at scale, ensuring every unit reflects the program’s core values. Provide sophisticated financial management to meet budgetary expectations for food, labor, and expenses across the multi‑unit portfolio. Preferred Qualifications: Degree from an accredited culinary institution (preferred, not required). Minimum of 3 years of multi‑unit culinary supervisory experience in a high‑volume, premium food service environment. Proven track record in driving and enhancing a culture of Food and Workplace Safety at a leadership level. Highly developed culinary skills in traditional, modern, and multi‑ethnic cuisines, with ability to innovate within program guidelines. Strong financial acumen, managing complex budgets and meeting financial goals. Ability to coach and teach individuals and large teams, and to communicate with high‑level stakeholders. Passion for the intersection of exceptional food, sustainability, and hospitality. Technical skills, including Google Suite tools (Sheets, Docs, Slides). ServSafe Manager Certification preferred. Experience navigating a union environment is a plus.
