Schedule and Work Environment Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Flexibility required and occasional weekends Ability to work hybrid after training What You'll Do as a Product Specialist In the Product Specialist role, you will support the ongoing enhancement, maintenance, and strategy for the assigned product. Assist in the development of the product roadmap by collaborating with all departments and external vendor partners. Ensure that all integrated software and applications deliver full functionality. Track and report on product metrics. Provide support to credit union team members to assure they are positioned to provide a top-tier member experience. Duties and Responsibilities Product Strategy and Roadmap Support Support the ongoing enhancement, maintenance, and strategy for the assigned product. Assist in development of the product roadmap through collaboration with departments and external vendor partners. Contribute to roadmap development by leveraging employee feedback and translating it into business requirements. Assist the product owner in delivery of enhancements and implementations. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and member and employee satisfaction and recommend actions. Stay ahead of trends in FinTech and related systems through internal and external networking. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Change Enablement Enact organizational change by engaging credit union team members and external vendors. Ensure product and integrated application capabilities align with and support the strategic plan. Collaborate with internal subject matter experts on departmental system reviews. Coordinate efforts of internal and external project team members. Keep stakeholders and project team members informed with clear, concise, and accurate communication. Product Operations and Administration Oversee day-to-day product operations and processing. Develop and generate reports in support of business needs. Work with team members to schedule and automate operations and processing duties where applicable. Perform recurring administrative, operator, or maintenance tasks as required, including after hours, weekends, and holidays. Provide helpdesk assistance when needed. Data, Reporting, and Performance Analysis Track and report on product metrics. Use a data-driven approach to evaluate product and related application performance. Make recommendations to improve employee and member experience based on performance analysis. Provide support in data gathering for risk assessments and audits. Training, Documentation, and Knowledge Management Ensure internal training is established for key feature functionalities. Work with appropriate teams to confirm frontline staff maximize use of features and enhancements. Assist in creating and maintaining documentation that serves as Atlas and training manual. Support credit union team members so they are positioned to deliver a top-tier member experience. Process Improvement and Member Experience Assist with departmental system reviews to develop best practices. Focus on creating efficiency and consistency in frontline processes. Enhance continuity of member experience across branch, phone, and mobile channels. Recommend improvements in efficiency and member and employee satisfaction. Project Coordination and Implementation Support Establish project timelines and milestones. Use project schedules to manage work and track task completion. Coordinate project-related activities. Support delivery of product enhancements and implementations. Risk, Compliance, Vendor, and Financial Support Provide support in coordinating and responding to risk assessments and audits. Assist in development and management of the IT budget. Comply with the credit union Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Policy and Anti Money Laundering and Member Due Diligence Procedures. The BSA training is to be completed within 90 days of employment and annually thereafter. Complete compliance and career development training as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
