Project Manager - Wind Farm - Chicago/Montreal/Iowa

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in the wind energy industry ? We're partnering with an innovative renewable energy company to find a professional who can lead complex wind farm projects from contract award through commissioning. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to one of these locations. What you'll do: Lead the execution of wind farm projects from planning through completion. Manage Turbine Supply Agreements and ensure contractual obligations are met. Coordinate cross‑functional teams across engineering, construction, procurement, logistics, and finance. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and forecasts. Monitor transportation, installation, commissioning, and overall project progress. Prepare project status reports and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and clients. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. What we're looking for: Wind energy experience is required. Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience delivering complex technical or construction projects within the wind energy sector. Experience managing EPC, turnkey, or utility‑scale renewable energy projects is highly preferred. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field. Strong knowledge of: Budgeting and cost control, Contract administration, Construction management, Financial analysis and project reporting. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced project environment. Willingness to travel based on project requirements. PMP certification is preferred or must be obtained during the first year of employment.
