Systems Technology & Research, Inc. (STaR) is seeking a Senior Strategic Communications Specialist in the Huntsville, AL area to serve as a Portfolio Integration Subject Matter Expert in developing and executing enterprise-level strategic communications across the organization's portfolio of products. Candidate will serve as Integrator for executive briefs, strategic messaging, and knowledge management to ensure consistent communications, preserve intuitional knowledge, and strengthen workforce understanding of organizational priorities. Candidate will also work with Product Offices, Divisions, and leadership teams to gather necessary data and develop compelling communication products that support senior leader engagements, decision-making and strategic briefing portfolio integration. This opportunity is an in-person/on-site position.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in Army acquisition, defense programs, strategic communications, or portfolio management.
• Demonstrated experience preparing executive-level briefings for General Officers, SES, or equivalent senior leaders.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Experience translating complex technical and acquisition information into clear executive-level messaging.
• Strong organizational and knowledge management skills.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple organizations.
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and collaborative knowledge management platforms.
• Army Aviation experience.
• Experience supporting Army acquisition organizations, PAEs, PMs, or T2COM.
• Experience developing executive graphics, infographics, and strategic communication materials.
• Possess an active DoW SECRET security clearance or the ability to obtain

Responsibilities:

• Support the Senior Strategic Communications Lead in executing the organization's strategic communications plan.
• Develop executive-level briefings integrating multiple program data, decision papers, talking points, white papers, and communication products for senior Army and DoW leadership.
• Assist with coordinating messaging across all product offices to ensure consistency with organizational priorities and strategic objectives.
• Establish and maintain a centralized archive for workforce of executive briefings, strategic products, templates, graphics, historical decisions, and reference materials.
• Capture institutional knowledge and lessons learned to support workforce development and continuity.
• Develop standardized briefing templates, communication products, and messaging tools for use across the organization.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, functional leads, and senior staff to integrate technical, acquisition, and operational information.
• Assist in preparing senior leaders for key engagements, executive reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Identify communication gaps and recommend improvements to strategic messaging and knowledge management processes.
• Mentor team members in the development of executive-quality briefings and communication products.
• Support special strategic initiatives as directed by the Senior Strategic Communications Lead.
