Job Summary
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is sought for a floating position within the healthcare organizations various campuses in the San Francisco, California area. This role involves providing advanced nursing care within adult and geriatrics patient populations across different ICU settings. The position offers opportunities to work in diverse and dynamic critical care environments, supporting multiple departments based on operational needs.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, on a schedule cycle of 4 weeks that may shift between day and night shifts depending on staffing requirements.
• Required Qualifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) license, BSN degree, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, a minimum of 2 years of recent adult medical/surgical critical care experience, and at least 2 years of ICU experience. Additional certifications include NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Preferred Qualifications: 2.5 years of ICU experience.
• Float: Ability to float to all critical care, emergency department, and post-anesthesia care units as needed.
• Additional Information: All qualified candidates must have recent experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters. Candidates must have completed references prior to submission and be able to start on 08/18/2026.
