IR Tech Interventional Radiology

Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday; days off will rotate.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Requirements:

• ARRT Radiography certification (must have in hand)
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts certification (can apply once offered)
• 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology (Scrub experience required)
• Preferred: 3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, large hospital experience, peripheral and neurovascular experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and performance of interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate radiography equipment and ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment while supporting physicians during procedures.
• Document procedures and collect patient data for records.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation occurs every Monday and Tuesday; must also attend nursing orientation Wednesday through Friday (bi-weekly).
• This is a nicotine-free facility.
• Background checks and drug screens may be required.
• Facility allows two cancellations per month with a minimum 2-hour notice.
