Aldridge Pite is dedicated to providing best-in-class representation across all of its Practice Areas through its unwavering subscription to three fundamental tenets: Partnership, Integrity, and Innovation.Position Summary:The Litigation Paralegal will utilize legal knowledge and administrative skills to assist attorneys with handling legal matters and provide day-to-day clerical services to maintain the overall functionality of the department. This position will be in-office at our Atlanta, GA location.Essential Duties / Primary Responsibilities:Support Litigation Attorneys to ensure cases are being moved throughout the process to completion.Draft simple pleadings such as Summonses, Dismissals and Motions.Request documents from clients to finalize Discovery responses.Coordinate Depositions.Monitor Litigation deadlines to ensure compliance.Draft correspondence to borrowers, Clerks, Judge, Clients, etc.Update Client Systems for all Litigation matters.Ensure Case Management system is kept updated.Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including service packages.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases.Assist with other duties and special projects as needed.File and record in the Georgia court websites.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma Required.
