Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility and comfort of remote work while engaging with a dynamic school environment. Our team operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. You will connect with educators and administrators to support students in their educational journeys while ensuring their mental health needs are met.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as a liaison between families, school staff, and outpatient providers to coordinate comprehensive care and communication.

• Engage with insurance companies to handle pre-authorization for treatment services and navigate utilization management processes.
\n
• Contribute to discharge planning and aftercare strategies that support students transitioning between different levels of care.
\n
• Provide therapeutic meal support, educating students on developing healthy relationships with food within a safe environment.
\n
• Deliver empathetic and affirming care, tailoring interventions to meet the unique circumstances and identities of each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on school-aged children and adolescents who may be experiencing mental health challenges. You will address a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and difficulties with social interactions. Understanding these complexities and addressing them holistically, in collaboration with educational and family systems, is central to improving individual student outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is essential for this position.
\n
• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license issued in the state of Washington is required.
\n
• Experience working with older adults or specific youth populations is desirable.
\n
• Demonstrated clinical and diagnostic capabilities that support effective treatment planning and implementation.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, families, and colleagues.

• A proven ability to work independently while also collaborating within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Compensation and Benefits\n
