Dexian is partnering with one of the fastest-growing California banks to find a highly capable Senior Universal Banker III to join their dedicated team in Sacramento. This is a premier leadership role that combines exceptional client service, deep financial expertise, and daily operational support. You will act as a trusted advisor to both consumer and business clients, delivering tailored financial solutions while driving business development and fostering a performance-driven team culture. What You Will Do As a Senior Universal Banker, you will be a cornerstone of the branch, balancing client advisory, compliance, and team mentorship. Customer Experience & Sales Provide personalized financial advice and recommend products that directly align with client needs and long-term goals. Deepen client relationships by cross-selling checking and savings accounts, CDs, IRAs, and lending or trust services. Support commercial clients with essential Treasury Services, Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), courier, and armored transport services. Represent the branch at local Sacramento community and networking events to build visibility and attract new clients. Operations & Compliance Open, manage, and service consumer and business accounts in strict compliance with bank policies and regulations. Maintain and enforce rigorous standards for BSA, AML, and Information Security. Oversee large and complex transactions, monitor daily reports, and maintain robust fraud prevention controls. Ensure branch security procedures, documentation, and audit readiness are consistently upheld. Mentor and support junior bankers and tellers to promote professional growth, teamwork, and service excellence. Partner closely with the Branch Manager on performance goals, sales initiatives, and community outreach efforts. Lead by example in managing complex client needs and resolving escalated service issues with tact and diplomacy. Who You Are Minimum 3 years of retail banking experience, including comprehensive teller and new account responsibilities. Proven ability to seamlessly manage both consumer and business banking relationships. Strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance standards, and branch security procedures. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a distinct client-first mindset. Proficiency with MS Office Suite and modern core banking systems.
