The hiring range for this opportunity is $28.00 to $37.00 per hour along with incentive opportunities, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location and is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Position Summary As a Senior Business Banker you will build banker‑client relationships based on purpose, value, and trust with small businesses and the community. Your role is to understand customers’ current financial state and future needs, and to provide transparent, needs‑based solutions. You will collaborate with other financial professionals to deliver a cohesive customer experience. Major Responsibilities Reach out and engage the local business community and proactively develop business and community relationships. Represent the bank at civic/government, industry, and community functions. Proactively engage in quality conversations with new and existing customers to discover their business and personal goals and understand their current and future needs. Share knowledge of ways that small business customers can save money, make more money, or make their banking more convenient by utilizing Tri Counties Bank services and products. Employ appropriate solutions for small business customers and their employees. Follow through and honor commitments to ensure their financial needs and goals are fulfilled. Prepare a calling plan for each new business prospect in conjunction with the strategic business development program. Partner with Branch Manager to develop and implement promotional sales campaigns, cross‑sell plans and tele‑consulting activities. Lead by living the One Team concept, collaborating with business partners to acquire, expand, and retain business customer relationships. Coach and develop branch team members on product knowledge, relationship building, partner collaboration, and skill development. Other Responsibilities Maintain accurate sales records and regularly review sales results with Branch Manager, preparing an action plan to meet or exceed sales objectives. Maintain awareness of competitive products, practices, rates, and changes in the market area. Maintain current understanding of Bank policies and procedures in compliance with all federal and state laws, including Bank Secrecy Act, Information Security, Identity Theft, and Financial Elder Abuse Reporting. Assist other team members in non‑primary assigned duties when necessary and perform other work‑related duties as assigned. Education, Experience, and Skills High school diploma or GED required. Demonstrated sales and marketing experience with a track record of exceptional customer service and proven high performance. Business‑to‑business sales or financial services sales experience. Business financial analysis experience preferred. Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to be registered as a mortgage loan originator (MLO) in the NMLS. Senior Business Banker II: In addition to the above, requires 5 years of B2B sales or business banking experience, 5 years of business lending experience (processing loans and lines up to $500,000), and business financial analysis experience.
