What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to oncology and hematology patients, including those undergoing bone marrow transplants and acute leukemia treatment
• Perform bedside procedures such as CVC placements and bone marrow biopsies
• Administer medications utilizing barcode medication administration systems
• Monitor patient status and respond to emergent needs during your shift
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement patient care plans
• Document clinical activities accurately in Epic
• Support unit operations and float as needed, including weekend coverage

What You Need

• Valid RN License in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
• Minimum of 2 years experience in oncology or hematology units
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Strong assessment and patient management skills
• Comfortable with emergency team assignments and shift flexibility
