Local CDL A Driver - $30 per hour - 2nd shift | Lenexa, KS

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support Local operations based in Lenexa, KS. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Local CDL A Driver Details:

Schedule: Monday - Friday (occasional Saturday), 2:30 pm – 11 pm. 40-hour work week - home daily
Pay: $30 per hour, OT after 40 hours
Route Type: Local, driver will make trips back & forth hauling food & spices from production facility 1.5 miles to warehouse
Freight / Load Type: Pulling 53’ storage trailers w/swing doors & 48’ w/roll doors
Equipment: Automatic Transmission
Handling: Touch freight is required for load/unload w/forklift

Local CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:

License: CDL A
Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Equipment Experience: 1 year tractor-trailer experience required, with strong backing skills and forklift experience required.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

Local CDL A Driver Responsibilities:

Safely operate equipment on local routes
Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
Perform the required handling tasks, including loading and unloading goods with a forklift
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
Meet the physical demands of the role
