Accounting Assistant/Administrative Coordinator
Location: La Habra, California (on-site)
At 6D Helmets, we are driven by a single mission: to advance helmet technology and improve rider safety. Since introducing our groundbreaking Omni-Directional Suspension (ODS) technology in 2011, 6D has established itself as an innovation leader in both the motorcycle and bicycle helmet markets.
As we continue to grow and expand our product portfolio, we are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant/Administrative Coordinator to support our accounting, operations, customer service, and administrative functions.
This position is ideal for a dependable professional who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, supporting customers, and helping keep a fast-paced business running smoothly. The right candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a variety of responsibilities across multiple departments.
You will work closely with our accounting, sales, operations, warehouse, and management teams to ensure accurate reporting, timely customer communication, and efficient day-to-day business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Support
- Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements
- Post invoices and apply customer payments
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with customers regarding past-due balances
- Assist with maintaining accurate customer account records and payment tracking
- Calculate sales representative and employee commissions using Versa ERP reports and established company spreadsheets
- Generate and review reports from Versa ERP to support accounting and management functions
- Assist with various bookkeeping and administrative accounting tasks as assigned
Reporting & Administrative Support
- Calculate and track promotional product activity, including no-charge product distribution, using Versa ERP reports
- Maintain spreadsheets, reports, and records used for management reporting and business analysis
- Monitor office and warehouse supply inventory levels and coordinate replenishment orders
- Assist with special projects and general administrative support across departments
General Office Support
- Maintain organized electronic and physical records
- Support day-to-day office operations and administrative activities
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and assist wherever needed to support company success
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, office administration, customer service, or a related role
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Comfortable working with financial information, reports, spreadsheets, and data entry
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (Versa ERP experience is a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the motorcycle, bicycle, powersports, or outdoor recreation industries is a plus, but not required
